It was great and they are very helpful
Have had several visits to this facility and had extended waits every time. Endured slow and inefficient processes from check-in to exit. The administration and management of this facility is its weakest point. Most recently, our family and insurance company's attempts to obtain an expedited exam was frustrated by University Center Imaging's administrative and personnel failures. This company does not have people to answer phones, does not respond to messages you leave after navigating ultimately futile phone directory mazes. In all, at their worst when needed most, UCI demonstrates a complete and callous disregard of patient needs and their key role and responsibility to provide a service that directly impacts a patient's health. If you need a basic x-ray or routine service and have time to wait, do not require answers, help or response to special needs and have low expectations this place will be OK for you. It is essentially low budget airline for radiological testing. Good Luck.
This diagnostic center is very busy. Guests can easily feel they are just a number. If you need breast imaging, there are more appropriate places in the area (Health First Breast Center for example). In addition, patients should review their billing carefully. We were initially declined by insurance on a good portion of the bill as it had not be appropriately coded by back of the house staff. In addition, the billing staff had "forgotten" to enter payment on a large co-payment they demanded. Then within weeks we began receiving threatening calls that we owed them a large amount of money. In addition, this facility refuses to read any imaging done by a alternate provider, making it very difficult to get a second opinion on what might be a life threatening issue.
Always a wait, but staff is professional and pleasant.
