▪️ I wrote the following review in 2010:
• Oh, my husband also prefers them tho he doesn't do reviews. They are our preferred diagnostic center and also do labs as well.
I was at the pulmonologist's office yesterday, Sept 22, 2017. They said go for a Chest XRay, not urgent. They offered to send me to Gateway. I think Gateway is a zoo, endless lines, long waits, and very impersonal. I said "No Thank you. I'll take Health First on Hickory please". Then I drove straight there --- about 10 minutes. When I arrived they hadn't received the order. So they promptly called over to the doctor 's office to give them a direct fax number to hasten the process. I even offered to return another day since it was not urgent. But the lady said No, I was already there and they were on top of this. They would get it. And they did. As usual, professional, personable, super-efficient --- an excellent place for diagnostic testing. And, also as usual, the other people getting testing done were also very pleasant to encounter.
I always have great service. Closed at 4:00pm not 5:00pm

I had another mammogram yesterday. Really I hate them but I have had at least three of them at Health First Diagnostic Ctr. I have had mammograms in other states and facilities. Health First Diagnostic Center is quite good. For an unpleasant embarassing procedure they are as professional as you can get. They are courteous and efficient and have regard for your personal point of view and try to get you out of there as quickly as possible. I have had other procedures done there and they are consistently good. I go back because they are, especially the technician who conducts the test. They are very professional and courteous. As an overview starting from the time I check in at the front window to the time I leave, the process while sometimes a little slow is fluid and does move along . It is also a clean place. I like clean a lot. The people who work there are pleasant and friendly. And I find the people like myself who come in for the testing are pleasant as well. All in all I certainly recommend it.

I have used Health First Diagnostic Center for decades and have always had an excellent care. Whether mammograms, blood work or x-rays, each time has been positive. To me, they are excellent.
Just attempting to contact them via phone with basic questions, the person didn’t give me a chance to even ask, very abrupt and short o the phone and not helpful at all.
