Dr. Turse has taken care of my digestive health for years. He found a large polyp that had to be removed surgically. He has a great sense of humor, open and honest with me. Overall awesome gifted doctor.
The staff for Dr. Turse had without my consent or knowledge scheduled me with a different doctor than Dr Turse, to whom I had been referred. On top of that, even though the appointment I had made (weeks in advance) gave them plenty of time to verify my insurance , they waited until the day of my apt, then apparently do not understand how secondary insurance works, because they cancelled my appointment with the alternate doctor AFTER I had arrived at the office for my appt because they didn't seem to understand that both primary and secondary insurance pay the doctors, which showed up clearly in the records of the other doctors in their network. While Dr Turse may be a good physician, I will never go to see him due to the total incompetence and rudeness of his staff. 1) you don't make an appointment for a different doctor than the patient was referred to without getting the patient's consent, and 2) you don't wait until the day of an apt to verify insurance in case of questions, and 3) You don't cancel an appointment after the patient has arrived because you are confused over why two insurance policies were paying other doctors in the network.
