Do not use this rental company if you can help. Along with inspecting the outside of the car, make sure to inspect the inside. Either cigarette butts were left from the previous person (meaning they didn't clean the car appropriately before I got it) or someone placed them in my car after I returned it. Now I have a cleaning fee they won't return my phone calls about.

Horrible experience...I highly recommend that you do not use this company, there are several other services located in the same airport that you can use.
Horrific. The ultimate in bate-and-switch and poor customer service. Pre-paid the Lock Low & Go rental. My reservation instructions state that Dollar is "Off-Airport. Shuttle to Counter and Car". My pick up time was 7:00pm. Flight arrived a bit early so at 6:45 I was wandering around the dark shuttle pickup location waiting for the Dollar Shuttle. I called Dollar to see where the shuttle was and got a recording stating they were closed and would reopen at 0900 the next morning. So now I am stranded in a dark airport parking lot scrambling to figure out how to get to my destination. I called Dollar at 10:00 the next day (this after leaving a message to call me as soon as they opened since I've paid for the day). Turns out they had no intention of contacting me - my guess is the non-English speaking agent did not even listen to the voicemail. I'm out $320 and no transportation. Plus the costs incurred from having to now take a cab everywhere. I would strongly urge anyone reading this review to go elsewhere. I've learned my lesson that a cheap rate is not always the best solution.
Not bad but you have to know they close at 7:00pm. So we had to get a taxi to hotel at 11:30 at night.
This is the most horrible car rental company at Melbourne airport. I highly suggest not to use this company. You will drain out fighting back for unauthorized and hidden charges they put on your card after renting the car.
**20 hours later: update. they finally delivered a car to me. i specifically requested a non-smoking vehicle. the car they delivered smells like an ashtray and makes me physically ill to even sit in it.
