My trip was part business and part pleasure. To split, the reservation was too much for the corporate agent (and supervisor) to handle. Fortunately, the local guy understood common sense and was able to get it done quickly.
The absolute worst. People are crooks and are dishonest. Not worth it. The vehicle we reserved was supposed to be picked up at noon. It didn't show up until 4:30. We had a 20 hour road trip. It was too late to rent a vehicle from somewhere else, everyone else was sold out. The owner of this franchised location blamed Avis Corporation for all the problems and then told me that my reservation was wrong even though I had a printed copy and pulled up the reservation on Avis' crappy app on my phone.
Also the vehicle was dirty inside (i.e Animal Hair), they tried to spot clean quickly however missed the McDonalds bag that was under the passenger seat
Had to drop off my rental car five days early and this wasn't my designated drop off location. The representative was very friendly and he helped me return the car, updated my rental agreement to only the three days I had the car, and then printed my receipt and I was good to go. Would highly recommend returning or renting a car from here.
. Find somewhere else, This place is not worth it! Avis absolutely sucks and this location....takes the cake!
I recently rented a vehicle from this location. The customer service isn't great, but the vehicle did provide us with safe travels for 1400 miles. Avis claims there is no smoking in all vehicles, but someone clearly smoked in the one we rented. It wasn't until later in the evening that the smell was intolerable. The staff masked the smell pretty darn well with some type of air freshener which wore off by the evening. We purchased air fresheners and febreeze and aired the vehicle out as much as possible before getting on the road. Unfortunately, due to our schedule, there wasn't time to get a replacement vehicle. When returning the vehicle, I mentioned this to the clerk and was told "I guess we will have to send this one in for detailing". Would have been nice if they offered some type of credit or even an apology for the smell.
We escalated the issue to the area manager and he cut me off before I could finish because I guess he gets alot of these type of calls, he had a prepared response as if it was an auto response. The area manager was a jerk!!!!! They do not care for customer satisfaction, none of them do. I have never experienced something like this in my life and I rent alot of vehicles in the line of work I do.
The actual rental place made promises they all of a sudden, couldn't keep when I prepaid the reservation weeks in advance.
Been renting there for years clean cars they get you out quick always friendly won't go anywhere else
