We purchased a large sectional in December 2015 for our beach house. It does not get much use, but three of the pieces began to feel uneven, squeak, and one has something poking through the cushion, but not a spring. We called and scheduled an inspection. The inspector arrived, took three photos in less three minutes and was about to leave when we asked if he was going to sit or turn the furniture over. He then sat for 2 seconds. He said he only needed photos. He rushed the inspection and did not really check our pieces and lead to Kane's stating the frames and cushions were in proper condition. The inspection and customer service were a joke. We are furnishing another house and will not be using Kane's and would not recommend them to you either.
We were in need of a new couch. My father in-law recommended Kane's and we were very pleased with their customer service and their product. We paid a little more than we originally expected but the quality is amazing. We will definitely be shopping there in the future.
Nice furniture, not always the best quality but you get what you pay for
No different except that when you buy something you're not allowed to pick it up yourself but you have to pay a delivery. Wait, it gets better. You have no choice of day or time of delivery. They tell you what day only a couple days before and don't even tell you the time until the night before. There's an entire day at work lost because they're not in your area any other time. AND it's the exact same way for every repair, it's always the same guy and he is always gruff and a bit lazy, finding excuses why things don't need to be fixed. That means phone calls, hassles with managers, and yes, that's right, them scheduling it the same way with the same guy.
They've almost done me a favor by doing away with their longstanding business model that made them successful. Now my money can do the talking at other stores.
USED TO have lifetime warranty on everything they sold. It covered everything but the outer fabric on seating. That's the only reason I used to shop there exclusively and deal with their horrible service and policies. They no longer have that warranty policy. Now they're just an average store with mid grade furniture no different than 20 other places on that road...
Well, now dad has to get involved. I never leave reviews, but this is warranted. I am married to Alana, who left the review below. After the review was written, we were contacted by the manager of Kane's on 192, in Melbourne Florida. He came by, checked it out, then said that he was going on vacation and he would take care of it as soon as he got back. He must have stayed, because he never made it back. This sectional cost us 3k, and it crapped out within one year of rare use. We have been put off by Mr. Tattoos, the manager, and barely even talked to by the "furniture inspector". We will NEVER buy from Kane's again. We will just spread the word, and let the chips fall where they may. Don't bother contacting us again. We have already experienced how you "take care" of your customers. Hah! What a joke! If you want quality, don't bother with Kane's.
