Dr. Rubio is an excellent Veterinarian. Staff members are always nice. I am very happy to keep all our dogs under the wellness plan for 8 years

I have had mostly good experiences here. I especially love Dr. Oliver, as she doesn't make me feel guilty for not treating my pets like they're children. Met Dr. Decker yesterday for a follow-up, and she was very kind and seems very knowledgeable. I have all four of my animals on their Wellness Plans, and they have NEVER tried to upsell me. In fact, one of my 6-y/o cats (all 3 from the same litter) needed his teeth cleaned, and they said "it's not covered under his current plan, but you can upgrade it the day of the procedure and it'll be covered." Obviously, if I were to cancel the plan now, I would still owe them money. The wellness plans aren't insurance; they basically spread the cost of standard pet care (including labs and routine vaccines) out over a full year. I have been to other vets in this area all my life, and it pretty much comes out to the same cost. The techs and most of the front desk staff are sweet and helpful. UPDATE: My only real complaint in the past has been the wait time, as it used to take about 90 minutes to complete an appointment. But they have a new system in place for their biannual comprehensive exams: Now they have you drop your pet off and pick then up a few hours later. Love it!

I was skeptical of this Banfield because of the online reviews, but my two beagles were on Wellness plans for several years when we lived in San Diego so I've always considered the option. When we moved, I wanted to try paying out of pocket for a vet in Melbourne, but after one visit set me back 400 dollars, I decided Banfield is a much cheaper option for their preventive care. Turns out the Wellness plans are much cheaper here than in San Diego, just like everything else, and I think I am paying a very fair price for their annual checkups, shots, and a dental cleaning. The vet tech could have reactivated my old plan from San Diego for the more expensive price, but instead, walked me through the process of changing their home hospital and the lower cost for each dog.

I am not normally a person to review anything good or bad, but this Banfield does not deserve the previous bad reviews. I scheduled the appointment a few days in advance, had almost no wait in the hospital, and the staff & doctor could not have been more professional, pleasant, and helpful. I am very happy to continue taking my babies here.

I walked into the hospital well convinced that my 6 year old needed a dental cleaning right away. I thought that her tarter build up was pretty bad and that she would probably need two cleanings a year to keep it under control. Instead of up-selling me the plan with two cleanings per year, they said it wasn't bad at all. That I should schedule her dental cleaning in 3 months when I run out of their flea/tick medicine and need a new heartworm test to renew the prescription. So they can do both at once, saving me a trip. The vet tech reassured me that she did not desperately need a dental cleaning.

I also liked that all of the procedures were done in the room, instead of taking them into the back to see the vet (what they did in SD). The vet came in to give them shots and asked me if I had any questions. She gave me easy home remedies for little concerns like losing a pound or two, one dog eating poop, and excessive shedding. Almost everything she recommended is something I already have at home, or is inexpensively purchased on Amazon, so she clearly wasn't trying to sell me anything, just make my dogs a little healthier.

We've taken our dogs here for several years. All total, our family has 5 dogs as patients spread out through 4 households. They do what they say they are going to do, and as long as we follow instructions, our pets do just fine. They are polite, honest, and friendly. We've recommended them to others and are very pleased.

My dogs love their vet and the staff. All very nice and professional. I'm on their wellness plan, it saves me alot if money, especially when I have 2 older dogs that have issues. I've been a client for 8 years, I highly recommend their services.
