It's nearly impossible to move on the back patio when it gets crowded. The bottom floor on the inside is quite nice and cozy. The bar tenders on the patio ignore you if you have a tab open so make sure you're assertive!
I have never eaten here, but the drinks are ok. However, they are supposed to give you a token for every specialty drink you buy, which is good for a free drink every Tuesday. I have been to this place many times over the past 2 years and not once have I been given the tokens for my purchases. Once when I asked about the token the bar tender told me no, even though I know someone who got their tokens that same night...this place is a rip off.
Love this place. My wife and I love to go dancing here. It has a younger crowd and is usually packed when I go. It has 3 bars with different moods, so if you feel like dancing or relaxing you can do it. It's my favorite bar in Melbourne.
So before dining/visiting the pub we looked at the menu and at pictures and found what I thought was going to be a killer chicken sandwich turns out it was a frozen chicken strip sandwich nothing like what I was expecting. The chicken did not taste good at all. The bread/bun was excellent. The fresh fruit concept is good with your meal. Cole slaw is good. The beef sandwiches are WAY better than the chicken and the flat bread is great also. Bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is great! I will be returning soon to try something else. Great beer selection.
Best cocktails in town. All fruits are freshly squeezed. Ask for your tokens for free drinks on Tuesday. Food is good but limited.
