Yes they are a little pricey, but everyone is friendly, the music is good and they know their brews.
Not sure about the selection, ask for a sample or, better yet, tell the staff what you like and they will suggest options.
Decent beer selection and friendly service. Hidden away in downtown Melbourne and not well marked from the outside. Comfortable interior and knowledgeable staff. Always have something interesting on tap. Local and more popular selections.
Unfortunately they do not serve food here. It's best to plan meals before or after, depending on the time. However, being in downtown Melbourne, there is no shortage of restaurants to choose from, that are within walking distance.
With a huge row of mostly micro brew taps, there is always something new to experience.
If you enjoy beer, this is the place to be.
Tried the mead ( which at $13 a glass gave me pause), but it was phenomenal. Great staff, great atmosphere. Can't stop thinking about that mead. Now if I could only remember the name of it...
Great variety of craft beers, ciders and shandy, all on tap. This place is highly likely to have that one rare beer you absolutely love, but never see on tap. If you're with one or two people my advice is get a few flights and try all you can.
Came for a tribute band. Cool looking bar. Lots of micro brews on tap. Definitely coming back.
