Their agent "Lora" called me directly today because one of my listings got removed from the MLS through my Realtor. She wanted to provide me with realty services. I inquired as to where she got my number as this is a DO NOT CALL number, so she was violating federal law by contacting me and offering me her agency's services. She told me a story that my number was public information. I reported the entire agency to the FCC. Maybe they'll learn to check on these things before being dishonest and breaking the law.
Tropic Coast is the best realtor I have dealt with and I have bought several homes. James in particular was very accomodating. He always took my calls right away . They sold my house and found me another where I wanted to live. And at the price I wanted to pay !! They never gave up and had showed me a lot of homes !! I sure u will have the same attention Good luck looking !!!!
Road block after road block... If ever again I see a house listed BY Marcie Bolt of Tropic Coast Realty I will avoid it like the plague. I closed on my new home yesterday, no thanks to Tropic Coast realty! From Start to finish the sellers agent (Marcie) was rude, unprofessional, and unaccommodating. She actually put IN the MLS of the home (that I now own) that our pre-approval HAD to be done by HER lender, is that even legal? Obviously we ignored that ridiculous request and went with our own lender who also found Marcie to be very difficult to work with. Additionally, it was very difficult to get her to respond to our VERY strong initial offer, something I'm sure the anxious sellers wouldn't have appreciated since they were looking to sell quickly. When she finally DID respond, she was nasty and felt the need to site the fact that it was the weekend. I'm sorry, I thought realtors worked on Saturday's! But what do I know...
My experience with tropic coast is they are the most hardworking group I've ever met. Marcie will go above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy. I would highly recommend !!
Furthermore, impossible demands were made by Marcie such as a 15 day loan commitment, which despite the ridiculousness of that request, my lenders worked hard to try and make happen. When it didn't happen, it was only because Marcie's office didn't send important addendum's that were asked for over and over again, addendums that were needed in order to be able to order an appraisal (can't exactly get a loan commitment without an appraisal, can you?) When the demand for a 15 day loan commitment was found to be impossible; we asked for an extension, and were met with rudeness and resistance once more (for something that was no fault of our own) At closing, I was provided ONE key to my new home, no garage door openers, no garage door code, no main gate remote, NOTHING. Something a good sellers agent would've definitely had handled. Instead my realtor was told there WAS no gate remote (there is) and there were no extra keys, but that it was just assumed by herself and the sellers that we would have all the locks changed instead. Say what? Am I in the twilight zone? I wonder if the sellers that hired Tropic Coast Realty even know how many times their agent almost lost them the sale of their home or know the real reason WHY it didn't close in 30 days... Bottom line, there are a lot of good realtors out there, steer clear of this one.
The broker has the most amazing hardest working team. They help with matters beyond their job description. They are always pleasant and straightforward which is a breath of fresh air in this industry.
