I was forced to cancel my insurance due to my car breaking down, and was told by a representative from this location that I needed to turn my tag in physically to the DMV before I could cancel my insurance, but that I could be reimbursed for the time I was insured that I hadn't used the car (starting Oct. 14). I was unable to turn my tag in physically until today (Nov. 22) due to my job schedule. When I called this location I was told that I would only be reimbursed for 4 days time or else my license would be suspended by the DMV. Additionally, the person I dealt with told me that I could have mailed my tag in when I was told I had to go physically the first time. I am really disappointed with mixed information I received from this office that has caused me to get charged for an additional month of insurance when I was not utilizing it given that I am already struggling with the financial burden of trying to get a car again. I am not happy with State Farm in this instance, so I will not be utilizing State Farm for insurance in the future.
