Awesome bakery making real french pastries and cakes, I am a regular customer and never been disappointment. I often special order birthday cakes which are always fantastic. The two owners are always welcoming and smiling. I just love having them in town.
Melbourne is privileged and blessed to have this little jewel of France right in the heart of our ever-improving quaint downtown! The owners share their passion for authentic French baking with the community and we love it! The quiches leave you speechless; the baguettes are the way you know bread should be, awesome! Pastries, croissants, cakes, ice cream......you name it, always the best! The staff are friendly and attentive and its fun watching the bakers and pastry chefs doing their magic right in front of you in their beautiful open kitchen. An overall wonderful experience!
I bought a loaf of sour dough bread here, it was crafted beautifully with an intricate design on the crust. The bread was very good, but it wasnt very sour which is what i was looking for. The inside of the bakery has a french theme and its very nice inside. The pastries looked very good although i did not buy any. I would recommend this place for a light meal or even brunch.
