I have been going there for about a month. I am learning quite a bit. Some of what I am learning is surprising. As a non-Jewish person I find interesting parallels to what I learned growing up in an Episcopal expression of Christianity. Rabbi mentioned in his lesson that we should study Isaiah 40 - 66. I just now finished that 'reading assignment' and my brain is in a tailspin. I am fairly certain that the writers of the New Testament were familiar with these chapters. Every time that I go to this congregation I get answers to questions about the nature of G-d and his relationship to ... people. This is a good place for seekers of truth.

Raised in Judaism, I found Messiah when I was 16--in a Southern Baptist Church. As life moved on, I searched many churches, from Roman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, Seventh Day;. You name it, I looked for the true church only to find God in all of them. As I grew older I missed my Jewishness. When we moved to Melbourne, we found Kol Mashiach and know them to be a loving, welcoming congregation who seek God with all their hearts, minds and strength. A very Jewish, Messiah following congregation. Visit them, attend a service and I bet you'll discover the same thing. Shabbat Shalom :)

I have learned a lot in 12yrs and be a bar mitzvah

Had the opportunity to attend a most lovely celebratory Bat Mitzvah yesterday honoring my cousin's dear friend Paulette. Over 150 people in attendance and everyone was joyful, welcoming and genuine. Thank you for your most gracious hospitality and caring. God bless! (Only recommendation would be a more accommodating parking lot :)
