This is a fantastic place. It's outside eating so get ready to sweat. But the soup and the rest of the food is well worth it. Parking is scarce so get there early (around 10). Food is purchased by donation.
This is a beautiful property. The temple and sculptures are well kept up with. They have a lunch social on Sunday's. It is such a great gathering to experience Thai culture. There shop there is a lot of fun, I found an old Thai rice serving bowl and glass decanter and paid next to nothing. There are meditation classes on site and I noticed Toastmasters meeting for public speaking. I will be starting that next. This property really transcends you away from Melbourne as soon as you drive in.
I cannot say enough good things about this temple or the people here. The food is amazing, the people are friendly. Dharma talks are now in English. They have yoga classes. All are welcome to come here for chanting or to talk.
Excellent and welcoming cultural establishment where one can learn about Thai culture and Buddhism.
