The lengua tacos are great, especially with their delicious salsa verde. Tamales are pretty good (Saturday and Sunday only). Just walk in the store, order, pay cash, and bring the order ticket to the food truck out front. It's worth the wait. Can eat inside or outside, or order to go, they wrap it up pretty well.
Made on the weekend and went there to get tamales this weekend and they decided not to make them the gal at the register says...... ugh either way. Would be four stars if the atmosphere was more welcoming.
Good food, not the best coming from somewhere where there is authentic food all around. Not a very friendly atmosphere but it works if you're hungry for Mexican food. They are often out of favorites. Tamales only
Order misplaced and then incorrect even when it finally came out. But food was terrific. Delish despite the irritation. Thankful we shared our table with a Spanish-speaker or we would never have been helped.
As a Hispanic in this community, I have to say that this store is good for most of my needs. It's a rather small store but it also seconds as a taco truck restaurant.
Delicious Tacos and super cheap for what they gave. They also have beef tongue tacos if you're adventurous with food, it's amazing and to die for. This is the only place in town I get tacos from, so authentic and so fresh.
