Don't go here. There are lots of churches in Melbourne to try.
We visited from out of town and Sunday morning service was a highlight of our trip. Wonderfull message and staff. Everyone was very welcoming. We felt blessed to have been here.
Then the parking lot guys are Nazis. Went today. To try again and see if they've changed their stance on children being welcome. And my husband accidentally went in the wrong way. Got lectured 3 times for it. I decided to leave because obviously the church hasn't changed at all nor do they want to extend grace to those who "break the rules" on accident. So while I'm leaving, the guy makes a big show of moving the sign in front of the lane in the road (the road is the exit, so I'm leaving as I was supposed to). I wasn't even the one who made the mistake.
Excellent worship. A place of Grace and healing. Top Notch practical day in and day out kind of Bible teaching that we need too. They adhere to the essentials and most importantly to Christ. It's about relationship not dead religion. They preach the Bible Jesus not some made up one like the cults often do.
Would not recommend. Perhaps the preaching is good, but trying to get to hear it is another story. First of all, I tried to bring my daughter, who is shy, into the church with me on my first visit a few months ago. She didn't want to go back to the children's service on her first time... and I wanted to hear the doctrine before I let her go back there anyhow. Well, you can't do that here. What Jesus said, Suffer the little children to come unto me... nope. NOT APPLICABLE. You won't be able to do that, you get to go into the area with kids and group them all together rather than the church being an actual family... where the WHOLE families are welcome to sit where they can see/where they choose, nope you'll go in the kiddie corral. (Which, by the way, is more distracting). And FYI, kids are the next generation of the church and where your cash flow... er I mean tithe flow... comes from...
What's that saying? When someone shows you who they really are, believe them? Yeah. I believe them now. Won't be back.
Very Welcoming Environments, Friendly atmosphere, great place to meet good people, lots of activities for adults, children's, and young adults. Great for healing process of any kind. A great place if ypur seeking for peace with God and know Jesus. Pastor Mark is very detailed, informative and excellent in explaining God's words in the bible related to our day to day living. The Best Pastor I have ever known. The facility is very clean and Don't forget to Check out the Commons, good food. I miss CCM, my friends and Pastor Mark is Amazing Great Sharing Gods Words. You will be touch emotionally. God is Great!!
Just moved here from clermont.. and I've attended this church twice.. and watch it once online.. and so far I really like the sermons.. although when I tried to get counseling they said they couldn't help me until I attended the church a couple of months.. i still like the church a lot so far.
